DailyAccess Announces SVP of Sales & Distribution
Mobile, AL
DailyAccess Corporation, a leading national provider of retirement plan and benefits services, today announced the appointment of Gary A. Plourde as Senior Vice President of Sales and Distribution. The newly created role will be responsible for the company’s sales, institutional channel, distribution relationships, and marketing and will report to Tommy Thomasson, President and CEO of DailyAccess Corporation.
Plourde has more than 21 years of experience in the retirement industry. He most recently served as Senior Vice President, National Sales Manager for Retirement Services and Institutional Investment Management at SunTrust Banks. He previously served as Regional Sales Manager for Great-West Life. He holds a B.A. in Communications from Oakland University.
“As we continue to expand both organically and through acquisitions, Gary will help lead our sales efforts and accomplish our company’s strategic objectives,” said Tommy Thomasson. “His success in developing and leading sales teams will benefit our financial advisor partners, institutional relationships, subsidiaries and stakeholders.”
Plourde will assume his new role on August 10, 2009.
